Leadership group begins Oct. 10

Each month, the Tamaqua Area Community Partnership hosts a Leadership Club meeting–an informal discussion group for existing leaders who are interested in developing and improving their leadership skills.

It’s not a “book club” but the group uses leadership videos & book excerpts to improve leadership skills and to spark discussion.

The group has been meeting on the 2nd Tuesday at 7:45 am at LCCC’s Morgan Center for several years and received requests to also host an evening meeting for those who cannot participate on a Tuesday morning.

I am excited to announce that a new  group will be meeting every 2nd Tuesday at 6:30 pm at the Tamaqua Library!    The first meeting of this new group will be Tuesday Oct 10th.

As a leader in our community, I invite and encourage you to attend one of these monthly meetings.

Let me (or George Taylor) know if you are interested!

Thanks,

Micah Gursky

P.S.  Click on this example of one of the videos (3 min) we used to start a discussion—there was no dancing at our meeting but it did start a great conversation!
